The IRA-X Lower Receiver is the culmination of a development project focusing on enhancing the classic7.62x51 Semiautomatic platform. We have extended and flared the magazine well to allow easier blind operation, enhanced the structural integrity of the housing and dropped the overall weight of the receiver. We mill out of 7075-T6 aluminum, and as a base we start with a classic Black Hard Anodizeed Coating. Of course, our hand applied IronArmor Cerakote process is available for the OD Green and Desert Tan finishes. Custom color finishes are available as well.
